1 Service Descriptions & Provision

Web Hosting & SSL

We provide hosting and SSL services via high-uptime servers. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, WebComforts is not liable for any data loss or downtime caused by third-party infrastructure or external attacks.

Domain Registration

WebComforts acts as an intermediary between the client and ICANN-accredited registrars. Domains are registered in the client’s name. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the domain does not infringe on any trademarks.

Website Development & Maintenance

Development projects are executed based on a signed Scope of Work. “Maintenance” services include security updates and minor changes as defined in your specific plan. Major design overhauls are billed separately.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

SEO is a long-term strategy. While we use industry-standard “white-hat” techniques, we do not guarantee specific rankings on search engines (like Google), as search algorithms are controlled by third parties.

2 Billing and Payments

• All prices are quoted in PKR (or USD for international clients) and are subject to applicable taxes in Pakistan.
• Payments are due in advance for Hosting, SEO, and Maintenance subscriptions.
• For Development projects, a deposit is required before work commences.

Payment Failure: If a subscription payment fails, WebComforts reserves the right to suspend services (including hosting and email) after a 48-hour grace period.

3 Use of Services (Acceptable Use)

Clients may not use our hosting or development services for:

• Illegal activities under the laws of Pakistan.
• Hosting adult content, gambling, or hate speech.
• Spamming or distributing malware/viruses.

4 Intellectual Property

Upon final payment, the “front-end” design and content of a website belong to the client. However, WebComforts retains ownership of any proprietary code, scripts, or frameworks used to build the site, granting the client a non-exclusive license to use them.

5 Limitation of Liability

WebComforts (SMC-Private) Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from the use or inability to use our services.

6 Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Islamabad.
